Bladeless recorded on May 29 2011 and blades on fan recorded on May 30 2011) 1st UPADTE 7/28/11:This fan is FINALLY fixed,so it's now spinning fast agian,YAY! :D

2nd UPDATE 9/26/11The blue wire is finally fixed, and I got the 4 light-kit working again.

My Encon Monarch 52" ceiling fan in bright brass. There used to have 5 Encon Monarchs with 1 Sierra Victorian Copy in this house, but sadly the 3 Encon Monarchs of 5 were replaced with 3 different fans, but one of the replaced Encon Monarchs is still here, yes it's my old bedroom fan. Anyway this fan use to spin the same RPMs (just like my new bedroom fan the Her!tage from Kmart),but then sadly in late August - December 2009 the speeds slowed. But I'm keeping this fan, because it's still a cool looking fan anyway.

Any who,I took a couple videos of this fan on May 30th,one without the blades and the other with the blades on the fan (click at 2:31 to see with the blades on) ,yes it has cane blades on the other side. Oh and this fan had a 4 light-kit and my dad unwired on November 2010. And the blue wire for the light-kit broke off by accident.

  • PB=Peanut Butter? *fan purposes* AB=???

  • @lot123pot345 Huh?

  • @lot123pot345 No, PB = Polished Brass not Peanut Butter, AB = Antique Brass.

  • it sounds like its scratching on something

  • @MrFandude123 It kinda does sound like it. And btw (which stands for "by the way") I have just received a new capacitor for this fan and I wired it up already, and so now it spins fast again.

  • @ZappingHero can you make a video of it?

  • @MrFandude123 It's already up on YT (still on a 4-speed control).

  • @jonahmusto UPDATE:My dad and I will replace the capacitor July 22nd 2011.

  • @jonahmusto Okay I'm now back home from vacation, now 1 thing I would like to do with this fan (and do a video of it and upload it on YouTube) is put my Hertage blades on this fan,and then my dad and I will replace the capacitor.

  • @jonahmusto Well,I think my dad will replace it,but right now I'm on vacation to go to my grandparents house, and maybe when I get back home (where it had these fan in my house) from vacation,I'm gonna do one more thing with this fan and film it before I let my dad help me replace the capacitor.
