I beg to differ. It represents the foremost artistic modernism which the ROM really needed in order to show the public that history is not an unchanging piece of literature but is rather constantly in the making and the crystal is it's latest chapter.

It is exactly the same model used for a shopping mall located on the Las Vegas Strip.

I used to live in T.O.,as part of my college art course i had to go to the ROM almost daily, I LOVED it, the grand old stone architecture,the feeling of history and time. It had a stately dignity to it.. Then they went and covered it up with that pop culture looking, angular nightmare of an insult. Crystal my ass, the idea came from a crumpled up piece of paper. And that's where it should have stayed. This whole idea sucks!!!!!!!!
