We are going to stop paying taxes into this failed system because all they do is use taxpayer money to pay of their wealthy donors while they screw the poor and middle-class!

No, everyone was NOT for the war. We went to war with the WRONG country. Remember that? Osama bin Ladin is still out there, but Iraq was invaded. Try to recollect this now. I was not for the war in Iraq. I couldn't stand Sadam Hussein, but I didn't think we had a right to invade their country. Many of us felt that way. Remember the protests? I lived in NYC before during & after 9/11 & I protested the war..

First, I' am Libertarian leaning conservative independent. I'm also objective concerning all parties. To be fair, the Repubs have not been invited to the table by Pelosi, Reid, & Obama. There may have been symbolic gestures, but nothing of substance. A reminder for you: the Dems originally tried to jam their healthcare proposal down our throats without debate. To be clear: something has to be done. It must be well thought out, and the cost must be evenly distributed.

You may or may not be right. We'll never know. The Repubs have no alternative to offer. I'm tired of them blocking everything Obama does when they come up with nothing. I don't trust ANY politicians, not the Prez & cetainly not any others. If they just want to play God with our lives without offering an alternative, then it's futile for them to argue. They don't care. A friend of mine has cancer & is uninsured. We are not a third world country. This is America, not Bosnia.
