  • @darrenm1eqn in the northern part of Israel snow is common and the cities there has about 3-6 snow occasions and at the most northern part of Israel there's even a ski resort (at the highest part right now there's about 2 meters of snow) and now there's a snow storm in there.

In Jerusalem there's 1 snow occasion every winter and most of the times the snow is heavy. the last real snow occasion was in 2008 and there was about 35 CM of snow.

and right now it snowing in Jerusalem.

  • @thehoodjoint78 L.A is in a dessert O_O why do you think L.A and Jerusalem both have the same climate? Eilat which is the hottest city in Israel has the same climate as in L.A Jerusalem is much higher and colder then L.A and right now it snowing in Jerusalem and almost the entire northern part of Israel.

  • @thehoodjoint78 they do have a similiar mediterranean climate, but jerusalem has an average percipation of 550 mm while los angeles has about 330mm, and jerusalem is also much higher in eleavation, the entire city is above 700 meters and some parts are even 850 meters and that's why snow happens once each two years, but Tel Aviv on the other hand, has almost the same climate as Los Angeles

  • @thehoodjoint78

Almost all Israel has the same weather conditions like Los Angeles and San Francisco. Tel Aviv for example, also doesn't receives snow every year. Tel Aviv got snow only one time in Feb 1950. Only high elevations have more chances to get snow, but the last serious snow was in Jan 2008. But also in the last February there were snow flurries in Jerusalem.

  • Los Angeles and Jerusalem have the same weather climate. Jerusalem is so lucky to get snow like this at least every four or five years. Los Angeles dosent get snow at all like this. Only in the higher elevations. There are records that L.A. have gone snow before but i wish it would snow at least every four or five years like this. Jerusalem, you are so lucky to get snow like this every once in a while. Hopefully one day L.A. could experience a snow day just like this!!!!!! ^_^

  • so beautifulllllll! i wish it would snow in haifa like this (-:

  • Is this in Rehavia? Looks lot like Europe.

  • in north israel it's snow every year, in jerusalem it's snow once in two winter

  • well Jerusalem gets snowfall once in like 2-3 winters... at times it can get quite heavy...

    Tel Aviv is much warmer
