National Novel Writing Month 2009 is an international effort by crazed writers to produce a 50,000 word novel in just 30 days. You can find out more at http://www.nanowrimo.org. This year, I'll be blogging my experience of participating at http://www.anthonyclifton.com. Also, my alter ego The (Novel Writing) Demon will be... motivating writers in his own very special way at http://www.askthedemon.com.
they don't actually get uploaded to the site. you submit the novel into a word-count calculator and if you have 50,000 words then you can get the certificate and (I think) a shirt? but after that it's up to the author what to do with it. most people edit it and share with friends, some people publish it
