looks like Xenia needs to start voting for other people. what a group of morons! I love how politicians worry about how SAFETY GEAR is paid for, but everything from the chair and table they are sitting at, to the gavel they pound is paid for by tax payers.

.....this shows how ignorant politicians are of the equipment we use. When they let politics get in the way of safety they need voted out of office! I wonder if the "fine" councilman rocking in the chair purchased that chair himself? Vote no on Issue 2, for leaving these issues in the hands of people like this is bad for the public and our firefighters!

Its been awhile for this but now is the time for change. These two council members seats are up in Nov 2011 and one new person is running. If you live in Xenia please vote for Josh Long.. Born and raised in Xenia he understands budgets and how to stick to them but more important he knows how important police and firemen are and will do what he can to ensure the city does what they can to keep them safe

THe sad thing is that this isn't unbelievable any more. This stuff is going on all over the country. To the dips**t council member who was talking about tool and dye makers and carpenters buying their own tools: hammers, drills, and saws don't save the lives of their users.
