Jazz à la New Orleans. In the autumn 2007 the Red Wing Band from Gothenburg, Sweden, with Brian Carrick and Ronald Andersen, was on tour in the southern parts of England. This ecstatic version of "St. Philip street breakdown" was recorded at The 51 Jazz Club of Cornwall in Rosudgeon, September 23. Brian Carrick, clarinet, Lasse Collin, tenor sax, Sune Linder, piano, Lennart Mysto Werdell, banjo, Leif Melldahl, bass, and Ronald Andersen, drums (Hans Zakrisson, trombone, and EvaKarin Andersson, vocal, was resting in this tune). • Excellent performance. The sound of you, Lasse is stratospherical and the flavour is authentic from the New Orleans. Of course, 5 stars.

  • @TrabalRipoll Thank you! Stratospherical, I like that word...
