I just came back from the show at the thirsty hippo and saw David play. He broke an string and started really late so I only got to see 4 songs because I had a meeting at 8am, but it was really good. I really loved this song he warmed up to. I had never heard it. I remember a line saying that your eggs are runny cause someone breaks your yoke. Must be called something like "COLD IN SAN FRANSICO.."

David is a really great writer man. Hope the world gets to know his songs someday.

ha well you definitely nailed it. i've never heard of david but this is a great song and you did a great job with it. your voice is great. it's like the middle ground between connor oberst and kevin devine. brighter than connor's but definitely not as piercing as kevin's.

i have not heard this song before. Anyway good job. I can only play one song. His songs are kinda hard to sing along with. And play the songs by ear.
