A song from Shooting at the Sun with a Water Gun by David Dondero. He is probably one of the greatest song writers that you've never heard. He has traveled all across this earth singing songs that make you think twice. Most people that listen to David would say he is the next Bob Dylan.

  • i thought it was weird that you didn't play anything other than the verse part and played it through where all the little fills and the chorus changes and just sang right through it

  • yea, cause I always mess up the little licks.. it is a stretch..

  • I just came back from the show at the thirsty hippo and saw David play. He broke an string and started really late so I only got to see 4 songs because I had a meeting at 8am, but it was really good. I really loved this song he warmed up to. I had never heard it. I remember a line saying that your eggs are runny cause someone breaks your yoke. Must be called something like "COLD IN SAN FRANSICO.."

David is a really great writer man. Hope the world gets to know his songs someday.

  • @DonnMills when the heart breaks deep

  • It took me like 2 minutes to realize that this was a cover. lol. nice job.

  • Great cover, Donn!

  • ha well you definitely nailed it. i've never heard of david but this is a great song and you did a great job with it. your voice is great. it's like the middle ground between connor oberst and kevin devine. brighter than connor's but definitely not as piercing as kevin's.

  • Hey donn, where can I find your cover of entry way song?

  • Hi Donn...

I like how this was filmed. Cool looking!

    xoxo,

    Lindsay

  • im overly obsessed with DD.

  • i have not heard this song before. Anyway good job. I can only play one song. His songs are kinda hard to sing along with. And play the songs by ear.
