However, the Soul Stirrers through the years have had a whose who of fabulous lead singers including Reba Harris, Sam Cooke, Paul Foster, Dilliard Crume, Willie Rogers, Johnnie Jones, Julius Cheeks, James Hardie, Johnnie Taylor, Martin Jacox and Eddie Huffman among others. They also had great melodic background vocals. They were simply the best! They all had class!!
