What Microsoft does with OEM's is charge a big premium for XP and then count that Windows XP sale as a Windows vista sale and I don't think Windows XP will die I think Microsoft will have to extend it's extended support to 2017 but then again Microsoft will release new and better OS's than XP so I could be right or wrong.
