As far as the Roth/Hagar debate goes, I think it can be agreed upon that Roth was the showman & Hagar helped made Van Halen better in their musicianship because on some songs where Eddie played keyboards, Hagar could play a very good guitar. I'm sure there are some videos out there where Eddie & Hagar are playing on their guitars together.

Wasn't looking for an argument. My point is that Eddie and Sammy are equally good at lead. Sammy was lead in Montrose and we all know that Eddie is a great lead guitarist. Most bands, including the ones you mentioned USUALLY have one guy on lead.
