  • And please, if its even remotely possible for you: Before you step up the weight on your squats, find a place with a proper Power Rack.

You just don't want to fail a squat rep without the safety bars of a Power Rack.

  • @folgsam

what the hell are you talking about?

  • @TheGameneo

Currently you're using the handles of a dip station as hooks for the power bar while you squat. That may be fine while you just use the bar an 10lb +/- on each side for squats, but if you approach your max weight you don't want to squat in front of a dip station anymore. It will take a few weeks to get to your current maximal weight, until then, for the love of god: Look for a place with a power rack.

  • @folgsam

    Ah, I misunderstood the statement.

But ya, I know that a dip station is shit rack but I literally have no options on other gyms until the end of the year.

  • this isnt starting strength, just some fat fuck sitting in front of a camera

  • @ionlylooklazy

  • @CarnifaxMachine FACT, also take down the poster if she agrees to come home with you. You can hang it back up once she sees your body, cuz then she just can't call you a nerd anymore. The beauty of it is you still are and should be proud of it, but in a sneaky way. Best of both worlds.

  • Marvel vs Capcom 3 - I see you! XD

  • Nobody has the flexibility to rack the bar their first time trying a clean. Heavier weight makes it easier (it pushes your arms down) , but its all about proper elbow positioning more than flexibility.

I would wait until you are more comfortable with lifting before working cleans again, you should also work up from hang clean before trying the full power clean, although at this weight it doesn't really matter.

  • >45 pound bar on squat

    >still have DOMS

    god you're a fucking disgrace

  • Get some contacts, shave, clear up your acne, and then once you're squatting 300 lbs. you'll be swimming in vaginas man. Keep it up.

  • Keep up the good work!
