KTLA 5 Morning News Weatherman Mark Kriski criticizes former Live Nation exec Seth Matlin over his proposal that a law be passed forcing advertisers to put a notice on any publicity in which a model is airbrushed or photoshopped in any way.

If they want to put a disclaimer on all Ads that have "Airbrushing/ Photoshopping" of models then keeping to their ideal/requested legislature, they also need to put a disclaimer on any Ads with models using MAKEUP period! There is also airbrushed makeup. Give me a break! Do we really need to even debate this when there are so many more important social issues that are being skirted?

Interesting debate here. I see points from both Mark and Seth. Sure, there should be some sort of truth in advertising but disclosing on an advert that the most minor face blemish has been enhanced is absolute rubbish. Now, if a models face is completely altered for the means of profit for a company, then yes, this digital enhancement disclosure should be debated and possibly noted. It's coin toss.

Mark Kriski is an idiot and I have watced him over the years. I guess he forgot that before every live show, he undergoes hair and makeup for at least 40 min, to hide and disguise his aging blemishes. Start within yourself, then gradually move outside and around yourself....
