A television trailer for the 1980 horror film "The Hearse", directed by George Bowers and starring Trish Van Devere, Joseph Cotten, Perry Lang, Med Flory, Donald Hotton and David Gautreaux.
I saw this movie just today and, even tho it's a standard corny "B" movie, I didn't think it was all too bad.....until the end. THAT was the worst part.
I remember when this came out. It seemed scary in the theater. Then my Mom and sister spent the next five years making fun of it. So much for the fear factor.
I like these horror films but this one is a waste of time. Boring and silly.

Yeah, it looks like the standard early-'80's horror flick; I'd only watch it because for Trish van Devere!

Good movie for the 80's.

Old Joe Cotton's brain was already self-pickeling at this point in his ancient career!
His speech pattern was off and he was beginning to slur his words in this movie.
Shortly after this, Old Joe bit the patootee and is now whistling dixie in paradise.
