If there's a movie that most defines "lost classic," this is surely it. What a great movie! Worth watching on a big screen or projector.

I especially remember the scene where Gigot gets drunk in the bistro and thinks people are being kind. Then he falls and they laugh. The expression on his face is for me--after all these years--unforgettable.

A masterpiece. Thank you for putting this out for all of us who wish to revisit. It's as poignant as the movie itself to think that this is the one piece of work Mr. Gleason had hoped to be remembered by and it is the most obscure and unobtainable.
