This video was made with great urgency on behalf of the people of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia, the highest coastal mountain range in the world. The 4 tribes that live there are: The Kogi, Arhuaco, Wiwa and Kankuamo. They are its care takers and call it "The Heart of the World". Their knowledge and connection to the entire ecosystem of the Sierra with its relation to all of life on earth, has alerted them to the escalating planetary climate changes. In August of 2009 Rick Harlow and Barbara Threecrow met several Mamo (elders) in Pasto, Colombia and agreed to assist them by raising funds to fulfill a sacred journey. Together they formed "The Elders Project". The Grand Sewkukuy, (shaman) 94 year old Norberto Torres, an Arhuaco elder, is recognized as the "Spiritual Geographer" of the Sierra. In 2010 he will lead a small group in ceremonies at the 54 sacred sights at the base of the Sierra's inorder to activate and energize the the area and the the rest of the planet. This is also being done to preserve the culture and traditions of these 4 ancient tribes. Please help support this sacred cause. Donate to The Elders Project... send what you can to: EarthAction - attention: The Elders Project - P.O.Box 63, Amherst, MA. 01004. • thank you. this video is worth more then any other video gaining millions of views,.

  • Beautiful message! Thank you, Does anyone know what Music is playing at the end of the video?

    blessings

  • It makes me sad that there are people that dislike such wonderful words.

  • Beautiful resonance to Tingan and Tenbalu in the Dagara tradition in part of this explanation. Very powerful work being done by the Kogi and others there and across the globe. Powerful.

  • (contd.) That said, of course destruction is headed our way, and hence it is easy for any tribal doom-prophecies to misuse that for the validity of their mythical consciousness even though it has NOTHING to do with whether or not the mama properly do their ceremonies or make offernings of gold to the earth.

Sad as it may be, Mother Earth is in painful labor to give birth to a higher consciousness, not to regress to primitivity.

BEYOND selfishness is NOT the paradise BEFORE selfishness.

  • @CodySnyder14 we are these things now though some do not think so ..we can think we are separate from each other or our Source but it does not make it so ...so be Love and Harmony and Joy and share that with everyone everywhere and be part of the change NOW ... LovePeace

  • Beautilful People....thay make my heart smile. Thanks for sharing Barbara with us. Thanks Barbara for sharing their story.

  • Those are true and beautiful words, friend!

  • Yes! I want to help.

  • If universal prayer and harmony, was channeled through every person it would create paradise on earth for all beings, This is not to say that there wouldnt be chaos, but harmony would peirce through the reinforcement of the being causing this, and it would generate a form of individual justice, and forgiveness, rather then past programmed fear.
