  • @Garfieldeje A lot of baroque solo works were written generically. Baroque oboe and recorder have similar ranges, and can play the same music fairly easily. The Marcello oboe concerto is wonderful on recorder, for example. But the manuscript title of the Sammartini concerto in F is 'Concerto a piu istromentì & la Fluta Di Giusep. St.Martini'. We know that one was written specifically for soprano recorder; the solo line is transposed to Bb so it can be played using F fingerings on a C instrument.

  • She ran out of music written for flute 20 years ago:)

  • thats for oboe

  • NB TV COMMING SOON!

  • Beautiful, and thanks.
