  • Does anyone know where in VB this was filmed? I have lived here since 1980 and I can't recognize the location.

  • @MrDanzo711 - just found more info about Va Beach Skateboard video - According to Mr. Riggs daughter, the video was shot accross the street from W. T. Cooke Elementary on 15th street between Mediterranean and Baltic Avenues in Virginia Beach, VA.

    Imagine going to one of these contest and just popping something easy like i dunno a kickflip? infront of a crowd who thought it would be impossible to ever get off the ground without ur hands on a board

  • @itscoldinminnesota How can it be surprising, Look how much Everything has changed since 1965, Tv was mostly B&W in '65 with 3 channels, no answering machines, cell phones, no seat belt laws, no internet, no man on the moon yet, no punk, rap, hip hop, new wave, heavy metal music yet, Everything has changed, why wouldn't skateboarding which at the time was only a couple of years old?
