@LordRobinofKent Fantastic? Most people died early. Most lived in squalor, starving and a cold usually meant death. Children were killed regularly and with little sadness after the fact whilst working in factories, often killed by being pulled in to machines. It was bloody awful I wouldn't wish that era on anyone.
I think the Victorian age has a rather dark, gloomy, heavy quality to it which I felt very strongly the first time I went to London, especially wandering round places like the Natural History museum.
@bluetruckredstate to me, the flight of the bumbledee actually accentuates the busy lifestyle of the victorians. Of course, by today's standards, the victorian era is still rather slow. But if you think about this from, say, the perspective of somebody coming from the 1700s, the pace of lifestyle of the victorian era has vastly increased. If the victorian era did not develop as it did, our world today would probably still be very similar as it was prior to this very productive era.
@skeetereze BTW, guess I was being cynical. Sorry.

Wow, there were actually white "victims" BEFORE asylum-seekers from third world countries??? Awesome. And sad.

Flight of the Bumblebee? And your point is . . . ? Strange choice, doesn't add to the quality of the video.
