DID MORE RESEARCH THE 1960 ONE WAS A REISSUE ON THE U.A. SPOTLIGHT SERIES.

THIS WAS REISSUED BY UNITED ARTIST IN 1960 RECORD #209 LOVEY WAS THE FLIP SIDE NOT SURE IF IT WAS RERECORDED OR JUST A REISSUE OD THE ATLANTIC VERSION.

@PhilCLG4 Actually, this is the ORIGINAL version of "One Mint Julep," recorded by The Clovers in 1951. But it didn't become a smash hit until the Ray Charles Orchestra covered it a decade later and every subsequent remake since then has been based on the Ray Charles version.

all chords...rock...this is my favorite...imagine...they were so ahead of themselves they actually KNOCKED a broad up because of a drink one mint julip was the cause of it all.......
Can never decide which Clovers tune I like better. Oh well, guess I just have to listen to all of them over and over again. Poor me.
