This will be a control shell for testing the size I want. It will be cut to 7 inches, down from 9 length. If I like it, I will duplicate the size on my wrapped rack tom.

This was a PDP 12x9 maple X7 series rack tom. Uneven stripping of the hard paint caused 2 bald spots where the outer ply was worn down. Reason for sanding is to stain.
