I've decided to update on my garden with videos as often as I can (or, as often as it makes sense) this year.

This first update shows the peat moss and garden acidifier I spread to lower the pH (a recent soil test showed my soil pH is 7.9). It also shows what's going on inside my hillbilly greenhouse with all the plants I've started so far this year. Hope you enjoy.

  • @destinyec I sure hope the amendments do the trick, but it might take a couple of years to get it where I want it. I actually had no idea root barriers would be an issue before I posted this video online, so that is definitely #1 on my to-do list when I get back home.

  • 7.9 as a PH isn't all that bad. Your organic amendments should fix that right up for you without much work.

Did you put in root barriers around your raspberries to keep them from spreading?
