Thanks for sharing, I'm also an artist and just started learning the guitar. You also motivated me to go in do a demo for my painting class. Again Thanks

Hi there, that would be the sensible thing to do..I have only ever painted in watercolours and in flat washes...but I want to paint in acrylics and oils..learn wet in wet techniques...scumbling..blah blah...it all seems a bit intimidating and for some reason the thought of not being able to free up my painting style (too rigid) is holding me back...but I'll get there...need to give myself a kick up the arse, swallow my pride and pick up a paintbrush!
Have a good one..

hey gangarene, start! stop all the thinking, and start! fall flat on your face! keep going!

Hi Larry...enjoyed watching the video...I'm no musician but its nice to see someone actually play an instrument...have you heard of John Martyn?..he died last months...so sad..I saw him twice in Scotland and the man would break your heart with his guitar playing...pioneered the "Echoplex" apparently..wonderful sound..I'll be checking out the guys you mentioned..been watching your painting vids and I'll be watching them all...closet painter...desperate to get started but fear is holding me back!

More painting demos please!!!
Nice stokes (without a brush)
Liked you showing that other you... at least for us another you.
Thanks.

thanks...life is richer filling one's time with creative reflective pursuits I think. One might take guitar playing so far...some thinking the point is to become a star and when younger I had such lofty thoughts I must confess. In the end though...playing broadens your base of appreciation. An active instead of passive engaging that over a lifetime allows one to be thankful and appreciative of what one hears from others truly accomplished, like Antoine Dufour. Check him out!
