I was working in Wildwood that week and saw something very similar around 12:00pm while eating lunch. I was looking up in the sky laying down on the subfloor of a house that I was building for a company I worked for. Saw it come into my field of view from the west headed east. As it darted in it triangulated in the middle of my field of vision and took off very rapidly eastward. There was a plane in the foreground possibly taking off from Spirit of St. Louis airport and one way off to the east.

I actually spotted something similar as I was driving to work about two weeks back, in Florissant, Missouri. It was during the day. I was headed to work around 5:00 PM. I think it was on September 24. I was trying to look and follow it with my eyes without crashing. Sunlight was gleaming off that thing. I figured it was an unmanned aircraft or it was a UFO. It had a circular shape to the best of what I could see. Wasn't conclusive. I had a camera with me, but couldn't record & drive.
