Chanshal Valley Camping

Out first ever camping trip to Chanshal last year.

Rohru was linked to Dodra Kwar by road and HRTC started daily bus service to the village. So we took the first bus to Dodra Kwar and stayed with the bus staff at Kwar who later dropped us till Chanshal the next day and then we trekked to Sauru Taal.

We had tents but no one knew how to pitch them. Later we used our common sense and made it look like a tent. :P

We had our maggie dinner and the moment we got inside the tents, it started raining.

The bonfire outside to protect us from the wild bears was washed in rain.

Got up at 5 am. Packed our stuff. Left for Rohru.

We had no idea where we were going.

Started descending down the forest on a narrow path and after walking for almost half a day we found a village and some water to drink.
