There wasnt that many people there, the back end was nearly empty, but it was still fucking awesome to see everyone including myself on that floor. IT was pretty funny to see quite a few drunk guys still standing looking completely clueless. Still one of the best shows ive been to so far. the vocals and shit don't have to be similar its usually focused around were they get their influences from and how their songs are done and yea there are some talentless genres like emo for starters. & yea speed metal is talented.
It may have no feel but it takes some skill.
But yea Slipknot is def not speed metal. Speed metal would be people like DragonForce, Dream Theatre, FireWind, Anchored Cross, ect. Slipknot is nothing like them & the only talented thing in slipknot is the drumming

That makes no sense.. A band doesn't have to be talented to be part of a genre. And furthermore "speed metal is actual talented music", how can a genre be talented..?
That being said, "nu metal" doesn't exist imo. There aren't enough similarities between bands like slipknot, system of a down, papa roach, limp bizkit and so on, to put them all in one genre..

wow, that looks like it was a fun concert, I was at the disturbed concert, does anyone have and footage of that they shoulod post that up, because that was a cool concert, unfortunatly I was busy at the time of this concert and I couldn't go.

I was at a concert where they did this. It was great :) Hard to believe it possible to get 40.000 screaming and energetic fans to sit down in the middle of a speed metal concert.
