  • They seem like a better balanced family than some I've seen where kids even at 17 and 18 are allowed no privacy for their communication. Remember, if you do it to your kids, someday someone might do it to you.

  • in america there is extreme capitalism, lots of people even live in caravans. So maybe they need it.

    And it's a question of woman emancipation too, maybe in ucraine they feel that taking care of their family is what they want.

    2. they monitor their kids at 17? wow, I'm 21 (so I was 17 recently) and this would have been an extreme invasion of my privacy, glad it never happened.

    3.americans sallaries are so low they have to work 2 jobs? that's very rare in ukraine here ppl are happier I think
