I think that the bottom line here is that people do not actually need the government to protect them from drugs. Using drugs is a choice made on an individual basis; a choice that does not violate the rights of any individual. What -does- violate the rights of -many- individuals is restricting their autonomy and freedom by imprisoning them for owning a plant, regardless of whether they use it for intoxication purposes or not.

In 2003 the federal government awarded theDepartment of Health and Human Services a patent on marijauna. Google: Department of Health and Human Services patent #6,630,507, “Cannabinoids as antioxidants and neuroprotectants.
Though to the government, marijauna is still a schedule I narcotic with NO MEDICAL USE.

@nrmarshall27 I am very informed and know exactly what you speak of. Thanks for understanding and continuing to project truth. Check out " Marketing of Madness" here on youtube. Another good one is BigBucksBigPharma. On the Cannabis side, The Union : The Business of Getting High, and of course, American Drug War, How Weed Won the West. I was once a psychology major until I learned of its correlation with Communist Manifesto. One, Brethren!

" Reefer makes darkies think there as good as white men." - with this the entire argument against legalizing marijuana is obliterated. Hey boy, get that joint out of your mouth and go pick my cotton!

@rainegod888 you would laugh if you had any idea how right you really are. In fact, it probably is the leading reason marij. is illegal because it is a medicine, a damn good one, and if legalized could/would dominate the prescription drug market. I'm talking all kinds of pills for symptoms you don't even know about would get tossed in the trash. Corporate Greed is why we still fight! March on.

This is a great song for your purpose, I'm sorry that corporate greed is so blatant. If you think about it, this is the theme song of Lord of War. And what a war it is, huh? It's people like you who try to do something, change one person's mind even, that make a difference. Good luck with your fight.
