I hope the low birth rate will continue as we can't keep economic growth growing and growing We are running out of a lot of resources around the world eg. Oil or cheap oil. We have a food crisis it is needed all around the world to have a new economic system one that doesn't need continuing high populations. Please consider this to stop the imminent collapse of civilization as we know it.

wow, hope you're one of the 80%. I myself don't want 4/5ths of my family, friends or neighbors to do die. Some pacifist you are. I would much prefer we start creating rather than destroying. If we we're smart about our food and power production, smart about how we distributed our food and became a whole working as a whole then we would be far from a population crisis. Most of what we buy is, at some point made by a child or wife, working 14hr shifts somewhere. WAKE UP TO THE REAL WORLD.

Living in urban areas forces a mother/father to decide to have 1 or 2 children only. If you are a woman, then you can quite easily lose your job because employers do not want a non-working employee. You must work long hours to pay for high expenses like apartment and child's education. Everything adds up to surviving now and future plans of children are pushed away.
