Sonic 2006 is kind of a tragedy. That soundtrack deserved a better game.

Whahahaha this was hilarious.
I'm kind of sad this is really the best anyone can make it look. Even when everything goes right you still have mid-level loading screens, graphical glitches, enemies with HP bars, and snowboard physics that blatantly haven't been updated since Sonic Adventure 2.
I just don't understand how Sonic Team could have made Shadow the Hedgehog, looked at all of its glaring flaws, and failed to fix a single one of them.
VERY glad they finally got their shit together now.
