Rounders - North vs South

A bright spark had the idea of organising a competition to put to bed once and for all the longest fought battle in the whole of the world. Which part of England really is best - North or South?

This competition was held in Southwark Park, Bermondsey SE16. The game, was Rounders...

The outcome was a Northern victory.

Rounders is an English game that baseball may have evolved from in the early 19th century. In addition, many of the earliest USA baseball players were also cricketers. Cricket was played on a fairly large scale in the USA until 1920. Philadelphia was the center of USA cricket, and produced many world-class USA-born cricketers. P.S. - I am a USA born cricket fan :)
