BTW wouldn't a hook grip be especially difficult with the Appolon Wheels give how thick it is? Also how can you tell from the vid that both mikhail and poundstone used a hook grip? I can tell from the vids I saw

and one other thing ( I am sure you're aware of this) but the appollon wheel I think is 1.9 inches thick and is non-revolving so thats why only 5 people have power cleaned it without using an over/under grip or continental.

Oh by the way Poundstone actually used a continental on 4 of his 6 reps. Only 2 of his reps did he power clean it without a over/under grip and without using a continental

Listen what I mean by doublehand is that they powercleaned the fucking axle by
a) not using a over/under grip
b) not using a continental.
That is impressive no matter how you cut it. Only Mikail, Poundstone, Murements, Henry and Gillingham have power cleaned the Appolon Wheel in this fashion to my knowledge

nah mikhail only used a hook grip. a standard double overhand grip is MUCH different then a hook grip. i actually focus a lot on grip traing so it kind of urks me when someone gives credit to someone using the hook grip. believe me idc what kind of grip hes using hes 30 times stronger than my best double overhand but still. but derek pouundstone used a hook grip as well on his 366 presses go look he cleaned it the normal way lols.

Ya its 366, It should noted that poundstone used a under/overheard grip with that 414 while Mikhail used a conventional double overhand grip which is hard to clean that way. Mikhail got 7 reps with this 366 but they were all power cleaned with a double overhand grip. IF you ask thats really impressive
