I just ordered that 911 turbo wheel and also the stand i allso just got a 42inch LCD for the upcoming forza 3 for the xbox360. and thanks for the tips about caster camber and such.

if the netkar pro is a sim how come it doesn't show the drivers hands in cockpit view?

I don't think that makes it a sim or not.. I personally have the wheel and hands turned off in all sims anyway.. I can look at my own wheel and hands ;)

No mention on the lock-to-lock wheel setting in Race Pro? From the footage it seems that it's the same as in previous SimBin titles (only 200 degrees). In GTR2 or Race07 on the PC you can counter this by first fiddling with driver settings (set it to e.g. 540 degrees) and then increasing the wheel lock angle in the in-sim car setup (to e.g. 23 deg). The on-screen wheel would still only turn 200 degrees, though. This is, IMHO, one of the SimBin sims' weak points.

We were using the hardware settings on the wheel. THe 911 Turbo allows you to adjust it on the wheel. I believe we ran at 360. You can't adjust it in game.

On the PC, you can adjust that by editing the controller ini.. I think.. I know you can on rFactor.

lol how embarrassing, Sean says you can't flip the cars and then 2 minutes later Darin just so happens to flip the car in the middle of the review. awesome. Simbin makes good games. Netkar is my new favorite sim physics wise, I don't think anything can top it. I just wish they had more cars/tracks but it is technically awesome

My FFB on my copy of Race Pro seems to be decent. I get a lot of wheel movement when I hit the wall and so on., but I get absolutely nothing when hitting the curbs.., there is no rumble/vibration when driving over them. Is this correct? The normal FFB is good. Nice and strong (feels great in the M3).., but it's weak in a few areas outside that.

Spot on for most of the review. Not sure i agree with the physics. They are impressive, but to me feel like dumbed down GTR Evo/ Race 07
