Deeply rooted homeowners fight against impossible odds as fire consumes everything in its path in this additional segment on area ignition. Interview with Captain from San Marino FD tells it all. This portion of video was shot by Troy Case, who teamed up with me for safety reasons.

  • The dumbass video taping parked under the power line!!!!!!

  • Not to worry young man...Edison and other power companies take the time to de-energize lines in areas where major fire is moving through-In this instance, the fire had been burning for more than 24 hours...

  • Not to worry young man...The Nuclear Fusion Company and other companies take the time to push a power button on their nuclear weapons in areas where major idiots who like to push buttons back on, the idiots had been around the area for more than 24 hours. So to make my point, you don't know for a fact that there wasn't current running through those lines. Anything is possible. Its called safety first. And i'm not a "young man".

  • Great thanks..you make alot of sense... We were with FD (obviously) and had the heads up that power was killed in the canyon based on what was about to (and did) happen...Sorry your feathers were ruffled

  • Sure, put a distraught homeowner behind the wheel and send him off to run someone over or drive off a cliff :) Many times there are no good options in these situations.

  • xyz

  • dude was that a fire alarm in the house going off or im hearing things

  • @PaulieMac77 When someone spends 35 saving money to build a home and a life, it is difficult to just walk away from it. Whn you are young, it is easy. But Who knows, that house could have been where he lived with some one who died, like a wife or a child. When you're old, you'd sometimes rather take your chances risking life and limb than just have your truck to live in.

  • When a firefighter says go, you better get.

  • why in the blue fuuck would u want 2 lock up a house thats not gona be there in 5 minutes FUCK DUDE ITS NOT WORTH YOUR LIFE GET OUT OF THERE

  • 0:08 boom

  • Man, that has got to be so hard. These people are trying to save the one place they go to at the end of the day where they feel safest and most secure. Yes, by staying behind they put us in jeopardy, but having to leave their homes, knowing there'll be nothing left by the time they're allowed back in, that's got to be gut-wretching.

  • In a rather twistedly ironic sense, I find it somewhat morbidly amusing that someone's smoke detector starts going off. (Unless that's something else I'm hearing.)

  • AMAZING VIDEO - - -
