Yeah most kids today seem lazy. I just graduated dewey and only about say 600 kids where either in clubs or helped out in events or went to events all together. 600 out of 3000. I am not sure about the numbers but still. And yeah i agree the world was different.

You are 100% correct - I didn't mean to imply that the school itself was to blame for the downfall - it's just the way things are today. Personally, I enjoyed my short 4 year stay. It was very different back in 1971 - but the whole WORLD was different then.

I agree. But those students who say that dewey sucks never did anything in the school. Whether it is joining a club, going to an event like a dance or talent show. Etc Etc. They say Dewey sucks because they do not do anything aside from go to class and sit outside.

This school is a shell of what it used to be. Was that an altercation with police outside the gate? Did you guys have to go through "security" to get in the yard? And those idiots yelling "Dewey sucks". What a shame
