Restoration of Dubrovnik part 1-english language

Believe or not, still on internet there is a some serb liars which describes this damage with few scratches and another which swears Dubrovnik was not shelled at all!Serbian propaganda is so pathetic these days, due an fact that montenegrians officially apologized and also paid for some war damage.

Milosevic after unexpected lost on Vukovar couldnt resist to play on another field to involve montenegrians(followed by his puppet proserb Bulatovic) no matter what importance Dubrovnik has in eyes of medias, Dubrovnik, town and area, which never had army base in all its history, just guards, town which was as a independent state for centuries, and at that time, first to recognize independence of USA, after Jefferson declaration in 1776, town with an oldest Sephardi synagogue in Europe, second oldest pharmacy, completely under UNESCO protection, was from autumn 1991 till summer 1992 continually under savage attack done by so called JNA, serbian and (proserb)montenegrian soldiers. Attack was done from air, sea, and ground. On civil targets Milosevic sent planes, navy boats, artillery with tanks, heavy canons. They were till summer 92 and action Juzno Bojiste, deep inside south croatian territory. Even Croatia was fully recognized, and in membership of United Nations, attacks on Croatia and Dubrovnik area lasted much longer.

Already in 1991 during period of hardest aggression, citizens were fixing damage on roofs trying to keep life going on

After 1992, although under several shelling which lasted till summer 1995, and caused more destruction, they continued to rebuilt their homes and monuments

!!!Reconstruction is these days close to end...UNESCO heritage site, unconquered town Dubrovnik-world treasure and croatian pride shines again with the same shine!!!
