  • how do u no wen ur injectors are broken

  • Sometimes, it's hit and miss, especially if the crack or leak is really small. But on diesels, especially, if your truck is either starting up like mine in the video and blowing blueish smoke, running like a gas vehicle with a spark plug miss, or worst of all, your engine oil levels are going up due to large amounts of diesel fuel washing down the cylinder walls and into your engine, those are all indicators that you may have a bad injector (s).

  • could be you need to replace your fuel filter to

  • I replace mine every 10K. The filter that was on the truck in the video only had a little over 1000 miles on it.

  • i got a duramax lly had the same thing happen just not like your at start up a guy told me to run a lot of deisel clean through so i ran a gallon and half through the truck cause 1 fill up is 50 gallons for me and hasnt done it since and its been months now

  • At that point, I had tried fuel additives and it didn't help. The tips of my injectors had actually cracked. Replacement was the only option.

  • But I have not seen that issue on a dodge hopefully still have a warenty

  • your injectors are bad pull your dip stick if it is over full thats diesel leeking into the crank from one or more cracked injectors serious issue with the LB7 duramax no one should ever buy one unless they know they have been replaced
