My New Series, Quick Trips, aims to capture little journeys on preserved railways. They will focus on a select part of the jouney and as the title suggests will not be too long. I just aim to capture the charactor of the railways.
On monday 26th October we made our way up to the Bure Valley Railway to spend the day. It is a lovely narrow gauge 15 inch line running from Aylesham to Wroxam with some of the most powerful 15in gauge steam locos in the world! Spitfire, No.7, was in steam as well as Mark Timothy. They are both ZB class locos and have a wheel arrangement of 2-6-2.
In this journey we follow Spitfire from Aylsham to Wroxam.
