A lot of people want to know why Nokia created the Nokia N97 mini when there's already the Nokia N97 flagship device. I asked this question while I was at Nokia World and a spokesperson replies.

Jesus Christ, you f*ckin phone manufacturers need to SERIOUSLY look at your 'market' before talking such crap.

I buy a phone for its functions, not as a way to show off to more losers than I already know.

you're right, but it's not the company's fault that people are so blind and shallow, under the influence

of globalization, always caring too much about what other people think about them etc.

and nokia... well, they are just smart, it maybe sounds stupid to clever people, intelectuals, but there ARE

people who say 'WOW i NEED to get that phone' just because it looks cool, fancy or whatever.

don't blame the manufacturers, blame the crowd, with their brainwashed minds. ;)

@asterix908 agreed haha. I bought my N97 Mini because it kicked everything else specs-wise for the price. I definitely have no interest in the "fashion world". Hell, I run all kinds of geekery on it. You can't get further away from fashion than that.

Also didn't the N97 (the original "tool" he keeps going on about) have pretty major hardware issues? E.g. the camera lens protector that scratched the lens over time?

stainless steel? What are you? Stupid? Stainless steel is cheap and heavy. Magnesium and Zinc alloys and aluminium (cheaper) and titanium (no need) is what you should've used.
