FREESPACE - THE MOVIE (Trailer)

An imaginary trailer that I've made for a possible adaptation for the big screen of Freespace. I've adopted some kind of creepy style. Some of the shots are from Blade Runner. Hope you enjoy it. The music is "Twinkle twinkle little star" (thanks to ahegele for inspiration) which is repeated, as I didn't have the whole version of it

I think this would make a good teaser trailer (the ones where they announce the movie, but don't really give much information about it >.>) I think The scenes you choose worked VERY well with the whole "creepy" theme. Which I think you pulled off quite nicely.

I like how it takes a break from the action of freespace into the creepy, mysterious part of it.

thanks psycholian, I think you are the only one who actually understood what I was trying to achieve with these trailer. It's no masterpiece, I know, but the thing that I really wanted to pull out was some kind of disturbing or "uncomfortable" teaser trailer for a Freespace movie. Stay tuned as I'm about to release a Final Trailer for a Freespace movie, which is gonna be more action packed. Still have to do some work on it, but I'm quite pleased with what's coming out. Thanks again!

When you're not fighting in Freespace, and listening to the briefings and the cutscenes, this is all perfectly fitting.

Words can't do me justice for this; I just recently got into Freespace again, and I'm terribly saddened about the fall of Freespace 3, and the mysteries and questions that were never answered.

But, it's good to know the spirit is still alive, and people like you, and those working on the Open Source can continue it :).

that little girls voice and the scene of the rebel flagship going through the nebula reminds me more of something along the lines of dead space than freespace...just saying. amazing how people can take an innocent childs voice and make people scared to death of it nowadays
