Recorded live in concert July 15, 2000 www.NatalieMerchant.com

More info on concert: Elektra labelmates Wilco and Natalie Merchant will pair for a series of summer concert dates, beginning with a July 5 performance in Boston, and concluding July 15 at the Winter Park Jazz Festival in Winter Park, Colo. Wilco will be performing material from its new album "Mermaid Avenue Volume 2," on which it paired with English folk artist Billy Bragg to write music to unpublished lyrics from late folk pioneer Woody Guthrie. Merchant is among the guest artists featured on the album.

The concert was recorded in the 16:9 widescreen format despite the fact that few sets were available in 2000 to display the full frame concert. Somewhere a higher quality digital 16:9 version of the concert exists.

Note to Ms. Merchant: If you want to record a High Definition (HD) Concert let me know I will pay for it!

  • @loraxation78 I Concur

  • I was going to say somewhere in The Swiss Alps, hence the German banter at start.

  • i think this video captures the true essence of Natalie's talent, strong vocals, emotional delivery. This was Nat in her prime.also the best line up for her band, very tight musicians.i believe this was recorded in Winter Park, Colorado

  • Absolutely LOVE this performance! The entire band is just rocking the haus ! From the hippychick style dance at vid time 3:54...to the nuances of the drummer's style...and the guy on lead guitar...just EPIC awesome!!!

  • her voice has transformed from sexy to just beautiful she enlightens my soul with her perfomance for that i thank you! "Natalie"

  • Well she still very very artsy but you know what I mean
