Official Theatrical Trailer for Cloverfield [2008], the J.J. Abrams produced monster film which has been also known as '1-18-08', hence slated for a January 18, 2008 release date.
The story centers on a small group of people who start fighting for their survival after a monster attack in New York City.
Starring Michael Stahl-David [The Black Donnellys], Mike Vogel [The Texas Chainsaw Massacre], Lizzy Caplan [Mean Girls], and Jessica Lucas [Amusement].

i recently watched an interview, and michael stahl david said that like at the first part, when they were at the party, some people didnt even know who they were cause they just started filming, and he also said that a lot of the acting was improvised for the "documentary" look, to make it seem like it wasn't scripted

I have no idea how to rate acting, but I would say their actings decent. =S
I wonder what the Cthulhu Mythos influence is going to be like... I cant even remember were I got that information...

This movie is too scripted. The thing that made documentary style movies like "blair witch" so good is that it was in a way improvised and ad-libbed. this looks too scrpted and the acting sucks
