Yes... and today, according to those who want to crash public education.... it's all the teachers fault. Next time you fail a medical test tell your doctor it is all his or her fault.

Awww, I want to see the next few minutes,Daddy-O!

@Samigarnett I WENT TO SCHOOL IN THE 1960'S -THIS MOVIE REMINDS ME OF ONE OF THE SCHOOLS I ATTENDED

@elliottspitzer BACK THEN THEY ALWAYS HAD OLDER PEOPLE PLAY TEENAGERS FOR SOME WEIRD REASON

Morrow played a really Nasty character in this. It was like "I just don't care at all, so I guess i'll really do it up." Sadly there are kids like that today. That's usually what happens when they come from a lousy broken home, and just plain ignorant parents. Hitting them is useless because that's what they're used to; they become numb to it. Pretty pathetic.

Ahhhh, he only has a knife...a kinder gentler time. :(

I loved Vic Morrow.

Daddy-O was an expression that was common.Vic Morrow and my uncle Dan Terranova(Balatci) lived together in Hollywood together with a few other up and coming actors.Of course Sidney Portier was in this great film and a young Jamel Farrar who would later change his name to Jamie Farr. Its a great film and of course the first movie to use a rock and roll song in its title.
Best movie about classroom and teacher-student interactions...The latest movies are all just echoes of this one....
