Qantas QF612 take off turbulence Melbourne BNE Over Wing View 06sep09 Boeing 737-800

So take off was delayed but made up time with strong tail winds. Anyway. took ages to get through the cloud so just put some best bits in, some turbulence and the first officer (i think) said we were through the fluffy cloud. LOL good flight all round and quick.

I have caught this flight many times myself over the years to visit family. I usually end up right where you're sitting too. Gives me goose bumps seeing the familiar view out the window because it feels like I'm going home again. There is often turbulence between Brisbane and Melbourne. I've sat through some hairy flights at times but nothing that would turn me off flying. You always know when you're entering or leaving Melbourne when you're in that cloud bank. Thanks!

Loved the taxiing round and the smooth glide over the clouds Mikey, but OMG the turbulence was scary... I would have been out of there like a shot if that was me Lol xxx
