  • Building a fence is an aggressive act? And illegal immigrant-labor driving down wages does harm people and their property. You go off on a tangent about "state property" when that's not even the issue. And the Constitution is not a contract that takes away your rights. It DEFINES your rights and what CANNOT be taken from you. Have you ever even read it? And some taxation is necessary to run a government. You're totally out of touch with Paul AND Libertarianism. Clearly you're just an anarchist.

  • The constituion does not protect rights lol, i dont think you understand how rights work. Anyhow, libertarian meant anarchism for a long ass time, untill the shit for brains paleo cons took it over. Also, i know taxatino needs to be done to have a government, but i also know that we dont need a government. :)

  • to bad for you, that you have no idea what you are talking about.he doesnt want big government or higher taxes.he does not want to tax you because you dont know better for yourself.ofcorse you wont go into detail with us,because you dont have the facts.you spill out this bullshit and think you know what your talking about.please stop the bullshit and get to the facts OR just stop all together making your vids.

  • FActs arent reallyhavig to dowith it. I didnt mean that i wouldnt go into why ron paul isnt a libertarian , I meant i wouldnt go into liberariaism (as n thephilosphy) For people like you who dont really know what it is and probably just heard glenn beck or bill maher use it and then go around basterdizing the word.

  • 3. Taxation: A true Libertarian understands that there is still some role for government. For example, you want property rights correct? That means that there has to be some document that enforces those rights, ie. a title/deed to such property. Therefore, there must be a governing body that can enforce that document when necessary. That governing body must be funded. Therefore, it must collect taxes.

Voila! All 3 of your arguments busted by a real Libertarian!

  • grrrrr same as the last one lol. Private defence agencies could enforce peoples proerty rights fine.

  • When i turn on the radio, all i hear is crappy music, its not like wait a few songs then a good one comes on its crap after crap after crap after rap after crap, SELL OUT!!!

  • Ron Paul is just the opposite of what libertarianism is. People outside of America laugh their ass off at the idea that Ron Paul is a libertarian.

  • If not the Constitution, then what? Do we reinvent the wheel with every 4 yrs.? The 'natural rights' you speak of.. who came up with those? I didn't agree with them. Was it prior to my birth? You are an Anarchist. Sorry. But you don't believe in the system of law (property rights is not a whole system of law), and wouldn't provide for a method to enforce the no law state you envision. Even at the municipal level. That's an Anarchist.

  • Whether or not Ron Paul is a true Libertarian, he would be a step in the right direction for the US if he were elected. He is much more libertarian than any other Republican candidate.

  • @IndividualAutonomy

I think spawk should watch all his old videos and critique/reply to them.

  • @Clyaton

No I mean spawktalk, though Ron has changed his position on the border from open to close (thank goodness).

  • @IndividualAutonomy Not according to Ron Paul... But maybe you know something he doesn't. Title him the way you want, it's not important. His views have stayed consistent.

  • @Clyaton

He no longer has this position.

  • You are simply arguing that Ron Paul isn't a libertarian, because he is not anarcho-capitalist.. He is a minarchist... Minimal statist. Very slightly authoritarian, in a sense that he promotes the state to protect life, liberty, and property. Also, picking one vote out of 'Dr. No's' so many votes to say that he is a collectivist is a silly stretch. He has called himself, Constitutionalist, libertarian republican, but he is still more a libertarian than anyone in office

  • Collectivism. LMFAO
