Biography
Dennis Pelliccia does two art forms which he has created. Magdalenian Stone Art: the bringing out of hidden figures from the natural designs in stones. Each piece is studied and in time figures begin to emerge and reveal it's human expressions. The next step, black paint and sand is used to block out what is necessary to express hidden images. The stone is then mounted on a natural wood base. Dennis' other art form is called Cosmos Xerographic Photo Montage Art. Using original NASA photographs taken in space and from observatories, he brings out hidden figures from these images through a process of elimination as he does with the stone art. Dennis' work has been written about in many publications. His art work has been shown in some of the most prestigious Museums in New York such as the the Vanderbilt Museum, the Parrish in Southampton, Guildhall in Easthampton, and the Royal Ontario Art Museum in Toronto, Canada. Also, Dennis is an accomplished song writer ( Ferryboat To Shelter Island song), and has been interviewed on radio and cable television programs in the 1980's.

" Our creative minds have endless possibilities. Consider the Cosmos...
Our heritage is enormous ". dp
