  • 3.........where i live its more like 5 PER WEEK!.

  • @CuseRecorder One is too many! Five a week where do you live Russia?

  • This is stupid, 3 pedestrian collisions(not fatalities) and all that was necessary. Even better are the poorly marked crosswalk on major roads and this unnecessary sting causes an accident, wonderful! They key to crossing a street is being alert as a pedestrian, remember its you vs 1+tons of steel, glass, and plastic.

  • @I275westflorida So would you be saying only three fatalities of one of the three were a close friend or relative.... FYI the population of Belmont is only 26000.... Drivers need to be alert as well that one Ton + of steel can kill!

  • in the last segments when more than 5 drivers passed the pedestrian, did they all get stopped? and also, after seeing your segments showing pedestrians trying to cross near freeways, i made sure to stop :)

  • @blaneyrocks22 As many officers that were available that's how many were stopped, and thank you for stopping!

  • the accident is just the problem, if everyone starts slamming on their brakes for everyone crossing the streets, gonna have alot more people dying in car accidents. i actually just looked this law up for my suburb and it implies here too. and ill be honest theres no way am i stopping in the middle of a road to let someone cross unless they are already walking across the road and in danger of being hit. it will cause a way more dangerous situation

  • 1:11 Crashes like those happen constantly with camera light intersections!!

  • @fattpieceofcrap If anyone is slamming on their brakes, they're not paying enough attention and they're a grave threat to everyone around them. No one in this video was darting out into traffic; there is NO EXCUSE for not seeing them and coming to a safe stop.

  • haha to the suv that got damaged.. I mean...how can you not see the truck stop in front of you idiot...that is what u get..and dont expect any financial assistance to help you

  • @ausdude77 all i'm trying to get at is law enforcement officers, seem to get some slack, but I see this thing still happen, even if the officer is not in pursuit, if they were to be caught, they could easily use this excuse of "oh i was chasing someone" and they'd be let off, i feel there needs to be more regulation of the police, or more implementation of like citizen citations for police or something.

  • @JetBlackGT Well they still have to slow down but would you want them stopping at every stop sign or traffic lights if they were on the way to help you or your family?

  • @ausdude77 so basically law enforcement does not have to follow the laws.... I see

  • @JetBlackGT They don't have to if they are performing a traffic stop or on their way to an emergency

  • @I275westflorida How did the sting cause that accident? No one knew the police were there.

  • Maybe they can use the money they extracted from honest citizens & the local economy to put up a damn street light. Problem solved.

But hey, those sweet government pensions ain't going to pay for themselves. LOL

  • 0:47 officer did not stop at a marked stop sign...
