Postal workers' unions have said that national strikes could begin on October 22, causing havoc in the run up to Christmas. Follow us on twitter at http://twitter.com/itn_news
This strike will be effecting innocent people across canada & globe. It put down Canada image and loss respect among the people. This is not the way to do strike - wake up!
@big61john I think the workers should understand that the service they provide is becoming increasingly superflous. They should have already started looking for other jobs as a lot of them need to be made redundant - which is nobody's fault.
What a ridiculously biased piece of 'journalism' by ITN... Not once did they mention the real concerns about pay cuts, job losses and speed ups that these workers are facing. Instead they spend the whole piece talking about how terrible it is when you don't get your post at Christmas... Its also pretty bad to lose your job or face a wage reduction at Christmas!
Striking workers are allways in the right. They are a cross section of ordinary people like you and me who are under a cruel attack from their employers. Police threatened to strike recently untill they were promised a proper wage increase.
If you were a post worker, you'd understand the issues and probebly be on strike too. Royal Mail bosses are trying to change a trusted public service in to business for them to line there own pockets. they are the greedy bastards.
To All Canada Post workers,
This strike will be effecting innocent people across canada & globe. It put down Canada image and loss respect among the people. This is not the way to do strike - wake up!

For all of you idiots bahsing Obama and discussing the Afghanistan/Iraq War, you dimwits do realize this is all taking place in Britain, yes?
The US postal workers can't strike. When they signed the contract there was a no-strike clause in it.
