Very lovely. RVW put William Barnes' exquisite poem [in Dorset dialect] to music & like any genius turned genius into super-genius. "Within the woodlands flowery gladed by the oak tree's mossy moot, the shining grass blades timber shaded now do quiver underfoot; And birds do whistle overhead, & water's bubbling in its bed, and there for me the apple tree do lean down low in Linden Lea" + 2 other beauteous verses all Brits. should learn. My next door neighbour is Barnes' 5 great Grandson!!!!
