The First Copperhead of the year! He sure was a small one.

This was an unexpected find that made the trip worth while. We also saw a prairie kingsnake that night but I didn't film it.

  • Ah, It's a trans pecos copperhead. The triangle shape is a dead give away. I found one in Conowingo MD, near the Susquehanna River. Copperheads are common there as well. I also found a western shovel nose there, it had glossy black and yellow rings along it's entire body. They are common on the west coast, not common here. Guess it could have been someones lost pet ? That was a beautiful snake.

  • KILL BILL

  • Copperheads are also common here in Pennsylvania, especially where I am on a rocky hillside near creeks and a river, with a frog pond outside my front door.

  • your so lucky to live in a place where allot of cool animals live. i live in mexicali, baja california

  • I can hear trains in the background.

  • Aw! The copperhead looks cute like that.

  • @Powerules i did once in southern missouri and i was in eastern kansas where i found the copperheads. they are really common around here

  • @tropicalkeeper19 Where did you manage to find five copperheads in one day? Did you come across any cottonmouths this season?
